So we were supposed to start cutting back on Kingdom Hearts [chi] today, and I think we're still going to, but we've already gone to play it twice and spent too much time there both times. This tends to happen when they start a new event (as they did today), but we saw it coming and should have been better prepared. But! things are working in our favor as far as wasting less time anyway, because Facebook is doing a thing where it will just stop loading after a certain point in our feed. When we get to that point, we say, "Okay, time to stop!" and I think we've spent a lot less time at Facebook today because of it.

As for why we need more time...well, we just always need more time. But there are other reasons, too, and one of them is that! we started working out! Tadah!

For a long time we've been thinking we need to get into better shape, and also for a long time Hulu has been showing us commercials for Daily Burn. Eventually we put two and two together and decided to try it out. That was about a week and a half ago.

It's a pretty neat site/app, because you can tell it what you're looking for in a workout, and it will recommend programs for you. Then you sign in and everyday it's automatically set to the workout it wants you to do that day. We started with True Beginner, because we are ridiculously out of shape. This was proven to us after our first workout, which not only sapped all my energy but also made me nauseous (or I guess the correct way to say that is "but also nauseated me", which means the workout itself was nauseous...it's going to take me forever to get used to this usage; maybe I'll just say "hey, language evolves, okay?" and stick with the incorrect meaning of nauseous). This was pretty sad, because it was also the day we planned to order a Cheesy Bites Pizza with salted pretzel-flavored cheesy bites. We ordered the pizza anyway, though, and after starting on it very slowly, it turned out to be a very delicious dinner.

Anyway. Working out has become another effective way to scare the cat. She recently discovered a spot by our desk that she loves, and she'd lie there all day. Then we'd start working out, and she'd look up in alarm, and then leave. (We work out in our office because it has a carpeted floor (the hardwood is murder on my feet) and more room than our bedroom.) Today she decided to stay and see what the big deal was, and she seemed mostly unbothered by everything until a dog started barking outside, at which point she decided she'd spent enough time outside her comfort zone.

And now we've been working out for a week and a half, and I think we might actually be getting into shape! It's a little exciting. But the workouts are still a challenge, so I'm a little worried about how it's going to go when they get harder next week.

Today I'm thankful for exercise, our package being in the office (I was afraid I was going to have to call Amazon again), finally having season two of Freakazoid! (I assume; we haven't opened the package yet), finishing work early today, and being all caught up on our manga reviews.

Good on both of you for working on getting more in shape! I've been using 30 Day Fitness Challenge to do some low-impact strength training. I have to get my muscles stronger so they better support my back.

Also, queasy is my word friend when nauseated just looks and sounds wrong.

Thanks, you, too! We have strength training on some of the days for Daily Burn True Beginner, and it's the hardest! We have absolutely no upper body strength. Good luck!
