Noragami strikes again

Oh my gosh, you guys. Noragami is kicking our butts again. We're working on it at the same time as another project, so we thought we'd be efficient(?) by editing one chapter of Noragami, then spending the rest of our work day on the other project. One chapter shouldn't take too much time, right? Ha, ha, ha.

We didn't even get past the table of contents before we got stuck. We spent an hour researching the Nihon Shoki so we could get more context on a reference made by one of the chapter titles. Turns out the reference may or may not be important.

So we spent almost the whole workday on Noragami, and worked a couple of hours overtime on the other project. Hopefully we're making good enough progress on that that we don't regret it later in the week.

And now we're really eager to watch this week's Sailor Moon S (our internet was acting up yesterday or we would have watched it then) and get back to Persona Q! Today I'm thankful for managing to finish our second draft of that Noragami chapter, still having some time to work on the other project, having marble cake to eat later, Mom letting us have her Easter candy, and Mom also letting us have the little trampoline she no longer uses.

PS: lyschan, I don't suppose you could hunt down a good picture of Yato being contrary for us to make a Noragami icon out of?

Oh nooooo, sorry about the Noragami troubles!! Just tell yourselves it's all worth it. Everyone'll be so thankful. I will be, for sure!! I turned in v5 yesterday and oh man, I was laughing and laughing over some parts, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.

I nabbed a clip of Yato chowing on the deliciastick while I was working; don't suppose you'd want that for an icon? Hahahaha. (it was one of the bits I was laughing and laughing over. I'm still laughing at the memory of his face. (some of the other things that tickled my fancy were more related to the dialogue, so you get to share the credit for those!)) Contrary, hmm... I'll see what I can find :D

Haha, if we had more time, it wouldn't be a problem at all! And in fact, we probably didn't even need to spend that extra hour researching, but we wanted to. It's all very fascinating. Thanks for the support! Oh my goodness, volume 5! It had some great parts! We keep seeing posts from your friend's soap making business on Facebook and all the names of her soaps remind us of that one gag manga at the end.

Hmm, that one could work. I think we just need one that reflects the attitude we imagine Yato would have toward our trouble with translating the manga, which we think would be something along the lines of, "You should just be grateful you get to spend so much time with me!" Alternatively, Yukine reacting to such a situation could work, too. But mostly, we just want a Noragami icon. Thanks very much for your help!

Oh hahahaha!!! Yeah, her soaps are amazing :D I'm tempted to follow Yato's example when I see them (and they smell amazing in person!), but...

That explanation helps!! I'll keep looking (sorry if it's a little slow—I've got a pile of things I want to read/reread and limited time to do so... but I love the faces everyone makes in Noragami so it's a great excuse to revisit them!!)

Also I finished Tenshi 1/2 6 this morning~ I didn't realize how long it would take me so now I'm getting a late start on my work day, oops. I think I finally have a sense of what the series is trying to do now, which made for a better, less frustrating reading experience.

Aaaah ha ha ha, yeah, no worries about taking things slow--we have absolutely no free time, either. And if you have better things to do, seriously, don't even worry about it. I'm sorry I can't be quite articulate right now. Brains are dying.

To illustrate our utter lack of time, Athena hasn't had time to read the new Tenshi 1/2 yet! And I haven't had time to read Skip Beat!. Sigh. Maybe someday... (Or maybe Sunday!)
