Translation machines

The title of this post is in no way an endorsement of machine translations. Those things usually turn out terrible, and of course if they became a thing we would have less work! Mostly it means that today was spent work work working. We worked overtime and still didn't meet our quota! Fortunately, we still have a couple of days before our deadline, but we're a little concerned because we have Wednesdays with Walt tomorrow and surely there will be a UQ Holder! soon. Ah well.

That being the case, there is little brain power to spare for much else. Except for Dragon City. It's possible that we would have gotten closer to our quota if we had not also been playing that (but not likely, because it's designed so you can only spend a few minutes on it at a time; more likely the time drain came from Kingdom Hearts [chi]), but they're having a Japan Island event, and how can we not play that? We want to get as many Japanese-inspired dragons as we can before the event ends! And we think we found out about it late, so we're rushing a little. Anyway, Dragon City! It has cool dragons!

Today I'm thankful for finding out about the Japan Island event before it went away, getting a fairly big chunk of work done even if it might not have been enough, having enough room in our schedule that we can probably call it a night without too many problems, getting to try the double chocolate hot cocoa mix that Athena got for Christmas, and remembering that we do have wherewith to give ourselves a sugar boost should we need one tomorrow or Thursday.
