So apparently the stress and fatigue were worse than I realized, because I had a bit of a meltdown yesterday. See, we're working on one project that needs to be done by our deadline (in about two weeks) or preferably yesterday (as of the day we got the assignment). That being the case, we've been asked to turn the translation in chapter by chapter, instead of turning in the whole book all at once.

Well, that's fine, and chapters usually aren't so long, so despite this translation of Say I Love You being due on Monday, we figured we could do a chapter a day until Say I Love You was finished. That worked out fine on Thursday, but then on Friday, the second chapter wouldn't end! There were so many pages, and so much talking! So much talking! Why? Why all the talking!?

So I was starting to panic about all the time it was taking to finish the chapter, because we hadn't gotten any work done on Say I Love You, and it's due on Monday and it could take us several hours which we might have to work on Saturday and I just want to lie down and rest because I know I have some kind of a respiratory infection and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

Hence the meltdown. Well, that and some irritability caused by the aforementioned stress. So we compromised. We finished the first draft of the chapter from the new assignment, then we worked on Say I Love You until dinnertime, by which time it was finished and ready to turn in (although we did decide not to go over it a third time, so "ready to turn in" might be a bit of an exaggeration; nevertheless, it has been turned in (Athena: Editors exist for a reason; that's all I'm sayin'.).

And today has been a day for relaxing and (hopefully) recovering.

Today I'm thankful for managing to finish that translation of Say I Love You before the deadline, being able to relax today, Skittles, getting to catch up a little on our reading, and having a pizza for dinner tonight.
