Hitting the ground running

As usual, we are inexplicably exhausted by Disneyland. You'd think eventually we'd build up some kind of endurance, but no. I guess that's what we get for going somewhat irregularly. And staying up to all hours of the night talking and getting up early to get to the park when it opens.

Well, regardless of the reason, we still had to come home and get straight to work! In fact, our nonstop work schedule probably has a hand in the exhaustion. It's so nonstop, we spent the day at Disneyland yesterday, then came home and translated a chapter of UQ Holder!, partially because our deadline was for nine o'clock this morning, but mostly (since we probably could have gotten an extension without any difficulty) because we wouldn't be able to finish everything else in time if we didn't.

That all being the case, our schedule has pretty much exploded. We might get a little bit of downtime next week, but we're going to need to take advantage of that lull to get as far ahead as we can before we get hit with another deluge. But we might take one day off, because we're making ourselves sick and we need to take some time to rest.

In the meantime, we had a lot of fun at Disneyland, and I have a lot to talk about, but I mostly just want to go lie down on the couch right now, so I think it's going to have to wait. I'm a little worried that I'll forget all the cool stuff before I get a chance to write about it, but I took pictures of all the best stuff (except for the milkshakes, but that won't take long to report: they were super delicious), so it shouldn't be too hard to remind myself.

Today I'm thankful for having a great two days at Disneyland, job security, the super delicious milkshakes at the Ghirardelli shop in California Adventure, making good progress on work for what little stamina we had, and Page only being a stubborn brat for part of the day.
