We've also been working on getting more work, which is stressful enough as it is, and only gets worse when people respond. It's understandable that people would be skeptical about ability to translate something from the forties, since we're not sure about it ourselves, but that doesn't make us any happier to hear the skepticism. He was very nice about it, and said he'd be happy to review a test translation, so really it's all good. It actually seems kind of promising. But since I was stressing about e-mailing Clay already, it was just rattling.
I'm calming down, really. Also, we got a new thing to work on from TokyoPop, which is also very happy. Not sure how long it will last, because the MIA translator might come back, but in the meantime it gives us something to do. I like to translate because it's something I know how to do. That was kind of a panic thing at first though, because they need the translation by next week. Then I realize that it's Tuesday and that should be no problem at all. It just might mean a little less FFVIII.
And now it's time for me to stop rambling and go watch Jeopardy!.
