But the point is, even though we hate to look at photos of ourselves, and don't really like the idea of being on camera, we want to be a part of this! So last night (when we found out about it), we were super excited to write up emails for this thing, especially because we get to talk about Kingdom Hearts and what we love about it! But then when we woke up this morning, we were inexplicably nervous about the whole thing, and we wanted to hide. I don't know what we have to be so nervous about--at best we get to go hang out with Kingdom Hearts people, and at worst we don't hear anything back. Although I guess there's also the possibility of it being someplace far away that we have to figure out how to get to. They say it's in a "surprise location." If it's where we think it is (the Greater Los Angeles area includes Orange County, which is where you'll find a certain haven for certain famous mice), there shouldn't be a problem, but if it's not, well. We'll see.
Anyway, we convinced ourselves that it's not so bad, and we have finally sent emails! So now all we can do is wait. The auto-reply said we should hear back by September 3 or not at all. In the meantime, now we're all excited about Kingdom Hearts again! We might break out Dream Drop Distance or something right now! except that we have a ton of other things to do, so we probably actually won't. But it's a nice thought, anyway.
Today I'm thankful for finding out about that casting call, salted caramel peanuts (so yummy), having the chance to email Square-Enix directly about our love of Kingdom Hearts, donut holes being on sale, and the cool breezes preventing us from dying of heat stroke on the way home from the store (it wasn't that hot, but the breezes were still really nice).
