So I called Mom and asked her for a definite answer about the Japanese PS2--were they going to give us the money for Christmas, or not? And as a result, we've both been pretty frustrated. Not that we didn't expect the plan to be rejected. And of course, the conversation ended badly, because sometimes I think out loud at very bad times. I called back and apologized, but I'm not sure how much good it did.
We were planning to stay home and play Final Fantasy VIII all evening, despite rumors that we worship video games, because our usual ride to FHE had to work, but someone else called and offered to drive us, so we went. Again, there were some organizational issues, and I think we really are invisible sometimes. Still, it was pretty fun for the most part. And we still had time for some FFVIII afterwards.
But now we're trying to figure out how to get the money for a Japanese PS2. So far the most effective idea I can come up with is to sell my violin, but that feels wrong somehow. If ever there was a time I was tempted to use a credit card, now is it. Maybe we'll be able to forget about it for a while, since we already turned in that translation.
...
Yeah, right.
Nevertheless, tonight I'm thankful for being remembered, apologies, fun-size Snickers, Zell Dincht, and Morita-oniisan♥
