Recharging

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! We're back, we're safe, and, as usual, we're tired. We had a really good time, but right at the finish line (about an hour or two away from home), the conversation touched on our Deep Psychological Issues, and our resulting grumpiness has overshadowed all the fun times that were had. It was kind of like shaking up a soda bottle and then opening it--there's bad feelings all over the place! So I think the details about our trip will have to wait until we've worked the gloom out of our systems so as to be less tainted with bitterness.

Today I'm thankful for the super adorable baby skunk on our calendar, Page being very snuggly, Oreo being very adorable, having a great time at Disneyland, and making it home safely.
