Anyway, for now, here's some more Disneyland pictures.
First, this is from the pizza and pasta restaurant that Gaston likes so much. To go with the Mediterranean theme, they have live musicians:
And here's what the dining area looks like:
Next we have a bunch of pictures from Goofy's Sky School. We're terrible in that every time we go on it, we joke about how it's sooooo much better than the ride that used to be there. (It's exactly the same ride, but painted different colors.) Anyway, they have new decorations out front and in line, so we took pictures.
The wall is covered in certificates and licenses and stuff, supposedly proving that Goofy is qualified to run a flight school. I took pictures of all of them in the hopes of being able to look at the pictures up close and read everything at our leisure (we don't want to hold up the line), but unfortunately my photography skills are lacking so much that even at full-size, some of the things were too hard to read. Boo.
And more pictures of the Little Mermaid ride building. Sometimes, I like to notice all the different weather vane-type things.
In-progress photos of Cars Land. I often roll my eyes in contemplating Cars Land, but regardless of my feelings toward that movie, the scenery is really well-made.
And another one, because I'm fascinated by the construction.
This is another picture taken so I could look at all the details later. It's a picture of the stage area for the "learn to draw a Disney character" room in the Animation Building.
Finally, this is a poster from the "pardon our pixie dust" paneling they put up to keep the guests out of the construction areas. They were building (I think it's almost done now) a replica of the Carthay Circle Theater, where Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered in 1937.
Today I'm thankful for adorable kitties following us around today, figuring out the voice commands on our phones (not that we'll ever need them, but we had some free time today, so we were fiddling with stuff), having plenty of time to play the super-dramatic case in Gyakuten Kenji 2, also having time to read our new manga last night, and getting our chores done today.
