On the other hand, they do say, "Love the sinner, hate the sin," and we don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to get frustrated when people start to get competitive about how much they know. Life is so much more fun when people aren't struggling to be better than each other, after all.
Anyway...right. I don't know if anybody was dying to know what we ended up deciding, but in case people were curious, we did decide to get over ourselves and go with Ravenclaw. There are a few petty reasons, like how we were annoyed with Celeste to the point of not wanting to be in the same house (wow, that's a really stupid reason), but the main one is that it seemed more important to Celeste that we be in Ravenclaw than it was to us that we be in Gryffindor. And there you have it.
In other news, wow is this volume of Negima! intense. It was kind of weird yesterday, because we hadn't worked on Negima! in a really, really long time, so when we looked at our schedule (the one we keep inside our heads) and saw that Negima! was next, we were like, "What? But that's impossible!" Before, it was like, "Just a few more things, and then it's back to Negima!" "Here, have an omnibus to work on!" So it just kept getting farther and farther away. And the preview in the last volume told us this volume was going to go into Fate Backstory, so we were looking forward to it...until we forgot because it had been sooooo loooong since we did the last volume.
Anyway, we're enjoying it. Fate was so cute in his flashbacks, and then when he was all like, "It's not about a girl!" we were like, "Awwww!" ...Sometimes we wonder how other Negima! fans would feel about our reactions to certain things. Like there's this big awesome scene with so much cool stuff going on, and we see it and say, "That's a lot of words..." Like in that one episode of Pair of Kings where they visit the island of smart people that got cursed into being really stupid people. That episode is awesome.
Today I'm thankful for getting to stay up late talking with a friend last night, our work schedule not being too damaged by our sleeping in this morning, those yummy Black Forest fruit snacks, not having to go out in the wind today, and the really pretty lighting outside.
