The horror...!

Editing manga is like doing laundry. It's one of the easiest things to do, but still makes us go, "No no no no no no no no no no no no no...!" So on mornings when we have to wake up and edit, we're generally not very happy to get to work. (We made it a little easier on ourselves this morning by using our Disney Date CD for the alarm, but that also made it more difficult to turn the CD off and get out of bed.)

I think part of it is that we already feel like we're stuck in a rut, so why are we taking valuable time out of our schedule to go back and reread the same thing again!? And part of it is that, the further along we are in a series, the more files we end up opening up for consistency checks, which takes up more memory on our computer, and the computer does not like that at all. It's even worse when we have to look stuff up online. I don't know if it's our computer, or Chrome, or what, but it takes a long time for websites to load, and even longer to switch from one tab to another. I'm pretty sure it's not our connection, though, because we have pretty high-speed internet.

Anyway. We finished the translation today, which is happy, but also means we get to do more editing tomorrow! Woo.

And that's about all we have to talk about, except maybe the talent show that's tomorrow. I'm going to play the Fantasmic! finale, and normally when I'm going to perform something, I like to practice it several times a day. But this piece by the time I've practiced it twice, my right hand is like, "Sorry, you're done." I'm kind of amused, actually.

Today I'm thankful for having one editing job out of the way, not spending as much on manga as we thought (but we need to make another order soon anyway), finally being able to make out the tune on that arrangement of Once Upon A Dream, Mikagami's extending gavel, and having just a little bit of extra time today.
