The idea today was to do some very non-strenuous organization and spend the rest of the day relaxing until Leia comes to get us for Disney on Ice. Today's organization mission: gather up all the laundry piles and stuff them into trash bags to be laundered at Mom's house sometime very soon. I called Mom to make sure this would be okay, and she even told me to take it easy because she could tell over the phone that I had a cold. Boo.
Anyway, we had a few piles of laundry that we had shoved into out-of-the-way places to take care of at such time as we had lots and lots of quarters or plans to go to Mom's house. (It was mostly stuff like, "Hm, this could stand to be washed, but we don't need to wash it right now. We'll just put it over here in the meantime.") But even when we have lots and lots of quarters, laundry is far from the first thing we want to do, so the quarters lie around until we need them for clothes we wear more regularly. But we finally resolved to take care of all of it, which turned out to be a good idea, because we found some stuff we really liked in those piles.
The downside: one of those piles of laundry was in the closet with a lot of dust. So as I was taking it out to put in a trash bag, I was attacked by all the dust! Aaaaaahhhh! So when I had finally finished getting everything out of the closet, it was time to stop. On the bright side, we learned once again that a few minutes of effort can go a very long way.
Today I'm thankful for little effort going a long way, Mom letting us use her washing machine and dryer, fun new missions in BbS Final Mix, remembering to print out our Disney on Ice tickets (that would have been tragic), and kitties liking to spend time with us.
