On the other hand, someone made the suggestion last night that we spend about 95% of our time confined inside our apartment. Indignant, we did the math and figured we actually probably spend about 98% percent of our time inside our apartment. So we like it here--is that so wrong? That might have been the cause of the "wanting to go out." Either that or the need for groceries. And of course the constant desire to see Tangled. We really should call Leia and see if she wants to see it again. Just not today.
In the meantime, as if we didn't have enough to do, we ordered three more DVDs. We can't even find time to watch the ones we have! But they had a sale! And the Walt Disney Treasures collections all seem so fascinating. We ordered the Disneyland USA one, because we just can't get enough of Disneyland. Unless there are too many strollers. But this DVD won't have any, I'm guessing. And if it does, at least they won't be getting in our way.
We also realized that, despite being confined inside our apartment, we're constantly doing things. We almost never take time to stop and wind down! We figured that might be causing some... thing. We don't know what, but it just doesn't seem like a good idea. So we've decided that we need to make a conscious effort to just slow down sometimes.
But right now, we just want to play Final Fantasy XIII. You'd think that would help with the slowing down, since it's a video game, and video games are generally considered to be mindless, but somehow it wasn't working last night. Ah well, we'll figure it out.
Today I'm thankful for finally getting to buy more groceries, Celeste being kind enough to drive us, having enough cash to get quarters for a load of laundry (we just didn't think to get any when we went to the bank--well, we kind of did, but we were like "eh." that was a mistake), Life cereal being on sale, and being able to read most of the text in FF13 despite not having an HDTV.
