There is one thing that's going to be different today! The LDS church encourages everybody to have Family Home Evening every Monday night. We haven't been doing it, because young single adults tend to have FHE as a ward, or they break up into groups and have it in groups, but anyway, we've been going to our ward's FHE. But! they must have switched ward FHE from Monday to Thursday for a reason, and we think that reason might have something to do with the fact that so many of the kids in our ward still live at home, and they want those kids to have FHE with their actual families, too.
That being the case, we decided maybe we ought to have our own little Family Home Evening. And we're going to start tonight! We're going to have a lesson from the Preach My Gospel book (a missionary instruction book; they usually give it to missionaries, but they encourage everyone to have one), and our activity will be baking cookies, which will then be our refreshments! It's a little exciting.
Today I'm thankful for new fun activities, Page making it safely back inside without eating any of the oleanders(?) growing by the edge, the idea of getting yummy cookies tonight, finishing our Happy Cafe translation, and having a clean kitchen.
