Incidentally, we had been thinking about doing that "30 days" writing meme that
But anyway, the point I was getting at was that we think we want to do it, and we also realized that we need to practice our Japanese sentence-creation skills (writing/speaking), so we thought maybe we'd start using that meme to practice our Japanese, and do it, like, once a week. We're still not sure about taking the plunge yet, though, because Japanese is haaaarrrrd. (Not really; it just seems like it is. To us, anything that's not easy is hard. There's no middle ground. At least not right now.)
But now I'm going to change the subject and retell that adorable story from church. The lesson was on faith, so one of the women in Relief Society told a story about how her niece exercised her faith.
The woman's brother had just left for his mission in Singapore, but just that day, this niece had learned that there are big snakes in Singapore, and they eat big things. So that night during a prayer, the niece asked Heavenly Father that her uncle would not get eaten by a python. And then she knew that he would be okay.
Today I'm thankful for adorable stories about faith, getting to see FF12 characters in Tactics Advance 2, having plans to see Despicable Me sometime this week, remembering that we still have some peanut butter squares from last week (we've been keeping them in the fridge), and interesting writing memes to maybe help us practice Japanese.
