Thhbbbtt!!

Someone just tweeted that they don't want translation notes. We were officially baffled, until they said they just didn't want notes with jokes/opinions/etc. Wonder what they were reading.

Yesterday, despite having received a generous gift of groceries, we went to the grocery store. It was kind of an odd experience, because on the one hand, it was like, "Well, this person saved us the expense of this, which means we can afford that!" but on the other hand, it was like, "This person just gave us groceries out of the kindness of their heart because we couldn't afford our own, so let's not waste their kindness with extra spending!"

We only splurged a tiny bit. We had to get the Chips Ahoy! with Reese's peanut butter cups in them! We just had to! And there were these Haribo gummy raspberry candies that had such a fascinating texture that we had to try those, too! We tasted them last night and they were pretty awesome.

After grocery shopping, we finally sat down and watched the last episodes of FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. We figured we had to, because if we didn't, it would have ended up like the other FMA series, where we had about four episodes left that we were going to watch, and we were going to watch, and we were totally planning to watch, and then *poof!* our hard drive crashed. We never did get to see them.

I guess now we could probably watch them at FUNimation's website or Hulu or something, but that was back in the day before we went legit. I'm glad we did go legit, though, because FMA has that whole theme of equivalent exchange, and how sad would it be to love this show to bits, and have one of its messages be you can't get something for nothing, and still be stealing anime?

Anyway, we really liked the ending, and we recommend everybody go watch the series! It's so good! For your convenience, here's one place you can watch it!

So that was a total high note, and then we went and watched the making of The Jungle Book featurette on the Jungle Book DVD. That was kind of a low note, because The Jungle Book is the movie Walt Disney was working on when he died in 1966. It was just so sad! They ended with kind of a hopeful, happy tone, but it was still sad. *sniffle*

Today I'm thankful for fancy raspberry candies, getting to see the end of the new FMA, legal anime streaming, Sekaichi being less brain-hurty than Maid-sama!, and finally making it to synth rank 3 at Square-Enix Members.
