That's probably a run-on sentence, but we discovered today that there's a sentence somewhere in existence that's more than 1,200 words long.
Anyway, while we were at the grocery store, Celeste called Mom to ask what kind of kitty litter she was supposed to get, and Mom told her that they were going to John's Incredible Pizza for dinner and we were invited. So instead of coming home, we just dropped off our groceries at home and went to Mom's place to make transportation more convenient when it was time to go.
While we were there, Celeste mentioned her German penpal, and there was talk of going to Europe and pretending to be a princess, so we mentioned the Adventures by Disney tours, which we then went to check out, and apparently! the Germany tour includes a two-night stay in Rapunzel castle, which I think was the inspiration for the Grimm's fairy tale? I don't remember the details but that was the thing that made us decide that the Germany tour was the one we wanted to go on. All we need to do is save up like fifteen thousand dollars (sadly, I'm not exaggerating) and we can all go!
In the meantime, we have some other travel plans to figure out, because a couple of our aunts are planning a family reunion, and Celeste doesn't want to go because she only wants to spend money on one trip to Utah and our favorite cousin blackhope just got engaged, and Sarah's not going because her brother-in-law is getting married that same weekend. We're kind of like, "Why can't we make two trips to Utah?" except that we're currently the poorest of us all and so we know very well why Celeste would only want to make the trip once.
But the fact of the matter is, we're feeling kind of bored and friendless, and we think a family reunion would at least break the monotony. Not that we're completely friendless, but... yeah. Ah well, I'm sure things will work out for the best. We might be able to figure something out. It's a little frustrating that we don't get any family support in going to a family reunion. One of many reasons divorce (and the crazy/stupid things people do leading up to it) really really sucks.
Anyway. After deciding we needed to watch more anime with Tetsuya Iwanaga in it, we looked him up to see what all he's in and found he's in s-CRY-ed. Well what do you know, we got the box set of that a loooooong long time ago and hadn't watched it yet. So we finally broke it out last night, and let me tell you, that is one fancy piece of packaging. And we're enjoying the series immensely. And now it's time to go watch disc 2.
Today I'm thankful for pizza buffets, having food again, that very yummy Chex Mix we had for lunch, both cats still being alive (the fights seem to be getting more frequent, but it's what happens when they have contact with each other, and if they don't have contact with each other, they'll never get used to each other, so we figure we have to let it happen), and having s-CRY-ed to finally watch.
