Then we went to Mom's place for Celeste's husband's birthday dinner. We had some fun talking, but I think one of the most important things that came out of that is that we are now in possession of Mom's copy of Beauty and the Beast, so we can finally watch it after so long (this would have been even better had we done it before our little trick-or-treat excursion, but we were busy and stressed about various and sundry things).
And now we can finally spend a nice, long time at home not abandoning Oreo. This makes us happy. Hopefully it makes him happy, too.
Today I'm thankful for all the people who drive us to and from church, being able to play the piano despite injuring my pinky, the technique the nurse at the Pets Hotel taught us to help Oreo not gag up all his medicine (so far it's worked every time!), getting to watch Beauty and the Beast, and having a nice long time to spend at home with our kitty.
