Starting with a very pretty interpretation of Bellossom:

A very cool Simon and Nia:

The mascot for the very awesome Hi-Chew candies--the Hi-Chew King!

I think the reason we took this picture was that Spike Spiegels are a dime a dozen, but Jet... as far as we know... is a rare find. He was hanging out with all the other guys, so we just took a picture of all of them.

We're not sure if it was a mistake to take the picture with this backdrop (it just happened to be where we ran into the cosplayer), or if we like the camouflage. I think mostly I like the camouflage.

This is another of my attempts at capturing just how big that AX sign was.

In which I fail at lighting again.

The cat was a very nice touch.

Baby Totoro!

We almost ignored these guys, thinking, "Oh, it's just another old Rayearth group." Then we noticed that their costumes light up! Unfortunately, it's a little hard to tell in the picture.

What? How'd that get in there?

I bet you can't guess which panel we took this one at.

These days, it's pointless to try to sound smart by saying, "But can he actually play?" The answer is always yes. (I tried to get a video, but I think I failed.)

This was taken while we were waiting the hours and hours and hours it took to get our Nightow-sensei and Nishimura-kantoku autographs. A bird had flown into the convention center and was sitting in the rafters, high, high above the convention. It was also very far away, though, so you can't make out any detail. It was probably a sparrow.

And now Mimsy seems to be wanting attention, so off we go!
Today I'm thankful for more happy e-mails from bosses, Mimsy finding a place to relax for a bit, Pet Perks discounts at PetSmart, having a little fountain for the kitties, and getting to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation last night.
