Rambling again

Hm, hm, hm... This is me trying to think of something to write about. On Saturday when I was all like, "But I don't know what to write about...!" (you have to imagine that in a whiny voice), I thought, "Hey! Isn't that what those writer's block things are for!?" So I checked the one for that day and I was like, "Lame. I don't want to write about that." Then later I was like, "But you wrote an entire entry about spoons, just because I didn't know what to write about and I told Athena to pick a random word!" But right now she's telling me she doesn't think I actually did that, so I went to find the entry, and apparently I did not, in fact, put the "randomness" tag on it, because I'm sure I at least had a paragraph. It must be under "rambling."

So I was thinking I'd try it again, and today's writer's block question is "Have you ever considered converting to another religion?" And I... really would rather not write about that. Not because it's personal or anything, but because it might require a lot of deep thinking, and I don't want to do any of that today. The short answer is no. The long answer is very complicated. But basically, we believe our religion to be true, and that's why we're still in it. Yay! (We wouldn't mind talking about the question more, but I think it would need more guidance in the form of specific questions. So if you're interested, go ahead and ask! And if not... okay then!)

We turned in the translation of I Hate You 9 today. Tadah! It's not officially due until October, though. We're pretty sure, based on what our boss has told us, that CMX will never get on our case for turning things in too quickly, as other companies have, but it still makes us nervous. Of course there's no reason to be nervous now, because we already heard back from our boss and of course he didn't say anything along the lines of, "Thanks, but could you not turn these in so early?"

But now we don't have any deadlines until September (one for a book we don't have yet and one for a book we might actually be fired from), so I guess now we get a five-day weekend! Or maybe even a whole vacation! Actually, we have plans to go to Disneyland early next week, so I guess it would be a whole vacation, unless you want to call it a seven-day weekend, but that seems kind of wrong. Not that I'm trying to brag, of course. These days, having vacation time is not necessarily a good thing. Working freelance, you don't get paid vacations *sniffle* But at least we'll have time to get things ready before AX! Like cleaning, and maybe even *gasp!* sewing!

And I think I'm done rambling now. I really shouldn't have taken so long--we still have Kingdom Hearts sidequests to take care of!

Today I'm thankful for Charge Berserk, beating most of the XIII kinokos, being done with the Hades Cup, blizzard magic, and still having M&Ms.
