In the meantime, the cats have been doing their part to try and cheer us up. Or at least to keep us from moving around too much, since they have a habit of settling down on top of someone just as we're finishing up the thing we were doing before, and thus planning to move on to something else. But they're cute, so they can get away with it. I was lying on my stomach on the couch when Mimsy decided to lie down on my back, right as we were finishing up the main boss of Shade Impulse 1 (a chapter in Dissidia Final Fantasy). I think that's one of the cutest places a cat can lie down, so I hated to make her move, but she also had my arm pinned in a slightly painful position, so it's just as well that it was almost dinner time for kitties.
...and I'm not really coming up with anything to ramble about here, so I guess it will just be a short entry. Today I'm thankful for the Acme Song, comforting kitties, shiny bathroom sinks, plans to go fabric shopping within the next week, and embroidery hoops.
