It would seem that Mom has taken mercy on us and let us come home after church instead of going right to her place. We're a little sad, because it means we won't get a chance to implement our anime plan, but now we have time to do this meme we stole from nezumiko.

1. Do you like blue cheese?
We haven't tried it, so we couldn't say for sure, but based on all the many *coughcough* foods we like to eat, we're guessing no.

2. Have you ever smoked a cigarette?
Not unless you count second-hand, or candy cigarettes, like those bubble gum ones with the powdered sugar so you can make them puff. But that's not technically smoke, so they probably don't count.

Alternate answer: ♪We are the smoke free♪ Class of 2000♪ Two triple zero, everyone's a hero♪ (Or a she-ro!)
That was such a bad song.

3. Do you own a gun?
I don't think we even have toy guns. Maybe virtual guns, in video games, but we don't have any shooters. We have lots of pictures of guns, since we translated manga and stuff.

4. What flavor do you add to your drink at Sonic?
Hmmm, that's a tough one. Athena says she likes peanut butter in milkshakes. We don't usually get slushies at Sonic, because we usually want milkshakes instead.

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments?
Athena: Yes!
Me: Considering the fact that we're probably at the doctor because there's already something wrong, I'm going to have to agree.

6. What do you think of hot dogs?
They used to be one of the few things I ate when I was little, and I didn't even care when I found out what they're made of. I was like, "So? It's still the same food." But now that my tastes have changed, I think they're gross. One time we were at a friend's house, and her brother was kind enough to make dinner, including hot dogs, so I had one so his generosity wouldn't go to waste, but I felt dirty afterward.

7. Favorite Christmas Song?
I like Joy to the World a lot, because that's what Christmas is all about. And because when we still lived in Glendale, our stake would put on a biiiiiiig choir performance every year, and when the choir director was Alan Williams (he's done music for TV!), he got an orchestra to accompany us, and his arrangement of the song was just amazing.

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?
Milk after our cereal. We mostly drink water for anything. I think the only other beverage we own is milk, and some juice mix.

9. Can you do push ups?
Maybe one or two?

10. What's your favorite meal?
Cheese pizza. Stuffed crust from Pizza Hut is the best, unless they're selling the Cheesy Bites pizza. But we don't eat it very often, because ordering pizza is such a hassle.

11. What's your favorite piece of jewelry?
We don't have much jewelry, but the jewelry that comes with the Haruka treasure boxes is really really nice. We still can't just wear any of it though.

12. Favorite hobby?
Anime, video games, manga. I guess that's three, but they're all in the same category, right?

13. Do you work with people who idolize you?
We think we might actually sometimes, but we couldn't say for sure because technically we do all our working just the two of us.

14. Do you have A.D.D?
Sometimes we think we do, because we can't focus on one thing for too long at a time, but we're pretty good at getting back to things (like only taking five minute breaks during work then getting right back to the manga), so probably not. I think there was an online quiz somewhere, and we answered no to a lot of the questions.

15. What's one trait that you dislike about yourself?
Hmm... As Athena says, there's always room for improvement, but I like myself pretty well. I know I have flaws, but I'm also good at justifying them, so it's hard to say.

16. Middle name?
Mine is Ann, Athena's is Marie.

17. Name 3 thoughts at this moment.
1. Whenever someone says to say what you're thinking RIGHT NOW, my mind goes blank. 2. ..................... 3. That was really funny!

18. Name 3 things you bought yesterday.
Yesterday...? I don't think we bought anything yesterday, but on Friday, we went to the 7-11 and bought milk and ice cream, and we made an order from CD Japan, which included a Negima CD, a Bus Gamer CD, and the first two Host Club DVDs. Wait, that's more than three...

19. What happened to #19?
There is no floor nineteen. Miss Zarves teaches the class on floor nineteen. There is no Miss Zarves.

20. Current worry right now?
We really hope the kitties are feeling okay.

21. Current hate right now?
Maybe our lack of a social life? But that's more of a frustration than a hate. And besides, the Relief Society president says she wants to get back together for more Princess Tutu. (Wow, it's been months...)

22. Favorite place to be?
Disneyland! Or maybe Disneysea...

23. How did you bring in New Years?
How did we bring in New Year's? Checking our LJ entry from that time, apparently we watched the countdown and then visited a bunch of anime websites. And got three shiny wallpapers!

24. Where would you like to go?

25. Name three people who will complete this?
Ummm... Maybe more_dragoncelt... and... two... other people...?

26. Best bed sheets as a child?
I think we were too busy building forts out of the mattresses to pay attention to the sheets, but we were really happy to get Beauty and the Beast sheets for our tenth birthday.

27. Worst injury you’ve ever had?
Athena broke her wrist in first grade, so she was still getting graded on handwriting, but she had to use her left hand for the end of the year. ("If I'd kept it up, I could have been ambidextrous. But I didn't.") I had to get stitches twice--once when I slipped at the park and hit my forehead on the merry-go-round, and once when I hugged a dog too tight and it bit my eyebrow.

28. Do you love where you live?
Well, I hate to say bad things about a place that lets me live in it. Our apartment is pretty nice and we have good management. But we reeeeeally don't like the climate and we don't like how everything is a million miles apart.

29. How many TVs do you have in your house?
Just one.

30. Who is your loudest friend?
Maybe Celeste?

31. How many dogs do you have?
Zero. Wow, come to think of it, I don't think we have any plush dogs, even. Oh wait, Darth Goofy! So that would be one... and then if you count like the 101 Dalmatians we have on DVD, and of course Shigure in Fruits Basket (we don't have the plush toy, but we have the DVDs), and then we were born in the year of the Dog, so... You know. However you want to count things. We do have two cats for sure though.

32. Does someone have a crush on you?
Not as far as either of us knows.

33. What is your favorite book?
Hmmmm... I think it's going to change depending on moods, but chances are it's part of a manga series. Oh, or Harry Potter. Or something by Alexandre Dumas. Or... something.

34. What is your favorite candy?
Again, it depends on the mood. Lately we really like Reese's crispy crunchy bars. Snickers are an all time favorite of course. There's just too much good candy out there to decide on just one. But I do have to mention Disneyland's peanut butter heavens. A ball of peanut butter about two, two and a half inches in diameter, rolled in peanuts, with a layer of caramel on the bottom that's stuck to more peanuts, and all of it covered in chocolate. Yum!

35. What is your favorite sports team?
The Besaid Aurochs. Unless the Bus Game counts, and then it's team AAA.

36. What song do you want played at your funeral?
Never really thought about it before.

37. What were you doing at 12 AM last night?
Eating ice cream after finishing up a round of La Corda d'Oro.

38. What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up this morning?
I think it might have been like, "Of course we want to talk to him, that's what we came here for, stupid!" I was having a dream; I don't remember what happened at all, except that I was with people and we'd gone all this way to talk to this guy about something, and then options popped up like when you're playing those video games where that happens, and it was "Go talk to him" and something like "Give up and go home."
Athena was thinking, "You know, Mimsy, I wouldn't mind you waking me up as much if you would settle down in one place."

And now we have just enough time to get some crackers before we have to go! Good timing!

Today I'm thankful mint brownie ice cream, the RS president talking to us in the library, getting to come home after church, ramble-facilitating memes, and good timing.
