Whoa, look at the time!

We were very nervous about the future when we started work today. We just happened to be on a scene that was thick with lots of words we didn't know, arranged in ways that were hard to reflect in English when we stopped working yesterday, so we didn't get much work done in the first CD. But as we went, the text got less and less dense, and we even managed to get to the end of the volume with some time left to work on Kieli! Yay!

But then Dad called, which was good, because we haven't talked to him for a really long time, but it did mean we were done with work. I'm only a little sad, because we were in the middle of an Eisen song when we stopped. That's okay; we'll just listen to it later. And we got to talk a little bit about how the Chinese elements work, since Dad's studied acupressure and stuff, which might have led to some helpful hints on how to deal with ninja technique translation in the future. We'll see how that goes, I guess.

And now we're updating Live Journal when it's past seven. On the one hand, that's okay because Jeopardy! is in reruns, but on the other hand I'm worried that there's an episode of Scrubs on right now that we haven't seen. Oh well, we'll find out.

Today I'm thankful for being able to get through that book today, getting to talk to Dad, Eisen's song, snack time, and water breaks.
