But first we watched some anime to make sure we don't fall behind again. Guiche (Takahiro Sakurai's character) isn't in Zero no Tsukaima so much, and instead they have a new hot guy character that all the girls are in love with, who happens to be played by Daisuke Hirakawa, the Japanese dub voice of Legolas and Will Turner. That just goes to show that not even Cloud Strife stands a chance against Orlando Bloom.
That's right! I wanted to mention the girl's dad in Nanatsuiro Drops! He looks and dresses exactly like Shigure from Fruits Basket! And he's an author! The only way you can tell the difference is that the art and coloring style are different, and he's actually played by the voice of Hatori. It's kind of disorienting.
Speaking of characters being played by unexpected voice actors, we're still very confused about Tybalt in Romeo x Juliet. Every time I see him or anything he does, I wonder how any voice could come from his mouth that isn't Takahiro Sakurai. But that's just me, I guess. I wonder if he was too busy to be in Romeo x Juliet, or if the director really did just like Ryotaro Okiayu better. Mystery...
Well, I guess I'm done rambling on about seiyuu for now. I bet I could come up with more seiyuu rambling fairly easily, but I suspect not a whole lot of people are interested, and we have other things to do.
Today I'm thankful for having a Quest in FF11 (actually, the whole point of the game is to do quests, but as far as our feelings are concerned, this one deserves a capital Q), popcorn, getting to sit on the couch while eating breakfast, potentially getting to go to Arby's this week, and a predicted ten-degree drop in temperature tomorrow.
