I'm here to update.

But I don't know that I have much to say. We were kind of out of it at church, which is not a very good thing, but at least we were able to focus on the really nice talk on gratitude. Since the speaker ended the talk by reading a couple of verses from the hymn "Count Your Blessings," and Celeste and blackhope both had a hard time getting to sleep last night, it made me wonder if on sleepless nights, instead of counting sheep, would it help to count blessings? Because then even if you end up thinking too hard to fall asleep, at least you're thinking about things that make you happy, and then you'll feel good.

In the library, we were both having a hard time holding ourselves up. We were up later last night than we should have been, and we don't have any good reason for it. Oh wait, we were doing research. I guess that's sort of a good reason. But then this guy came in to "keep us company," he said, and while we appreciated it, and told him so, we also told him we thought it would be better if he went to Sunday school. I don't understand why it is that so many people ditch Sunday school. Obviously Sunday school was started for a reason, and I'm sure that reason is not so you can stand in the halls and talk for an hour before Relief Society and Priesthood meetings. He kept arguing with us about it until Athena said not to make her hit him (and in church, too! we've got some nerve), because the importance of Sunday school is something we feel very strongly about, and he had the nerve to come back at us with, "Don't you think God wants you in Sunday school?" (Obviously, we weren't at Sunday school because our job in the ward is to be the librarians, and if you believe that church callings are inspired of God, that means God wants us to be in the library.) So then he apologized, which is also very appreciated.

But we were still annoyed until later we ran into another guy and the conversation somehow led to black licorice jelly beans and how we all think they're gross, so if he was to torture someone, he would feed them nothing but black jelly beans, and that was amusing enough to cheer us up.

Today I'm thankful for Sunday school, people who like black licorice jelly beans, once again having honey nut Chex Mix (it always makes me so sad when we run out), it being Sunday and giving us a chance to relax, and shiny return address labels.
