Today was just work as usual, where we learned that the side stories from the Sailor Moon Dream Arc are just as nightmarish (to translate) as we thought they might be. ...Although, in retrospect, there didn't seem to be a whole lot of expositiony monologues, so maybe they're not so bad after all. They're just super duper wordy, that's all.
Meanwhile, it's finally officially official that Atsushi Ohkubo is coming to Anime Expo! Woohoo! We always suspected they would have a Fire Force premiere there, and our suspicions were right! ...What we failed to predict is that Funimation is going to premiere their dub, blah. But that's actually good news for us, because it means we won't mind missing it to go see Mamoru Miyano at the Uta no Prince-sama movie premiere, because both premieres are at the same time. (The AX schedule lists another panel for Atsushi Ohkubo the day before, so we'll go see him then.) And it's also looking like Miyano-kun has three premieres in the same room on the same day, and it's a room that won't be cleared out between panels, so we're basically going to want to be camping out there all that day. The Fire Force premiere is at the same time as the middle one, so if we left to go to that one, we might not get a chance to get back in the room in time for the In/Spectre premiere, which is of course the one we really want to go to. (Though of course the other two look interesting, as well.)
But anyway, it seems like we've been more under the weather than we realized, so we're very glad that it's the weekend now. ...The under-the-weather-ness is also part of why we've started watching Miraculous a fourth time. Last night, we thought, "Wow, we have a lot of free time this evening. Maybe we should branch out and do things other than watch Miraculous." But since we weren't feeling 100%, we thought, eh, best not to stress too much. Let's see more Adrien! But I do think one of these days we might want to figure out some other things to do... Hmmm...
Today I'm thankful for finishing our first draft of Sailor Moon 8, all the neat things to look forward to at Anime Expo, tasty Triscuits, having our Wizarding World crates ready for us to unbox over the weekend, and getting to sleep in tomorrow.
