Still productive!

The productivity continued today. We really wanted to get our Christmas tree set up this weekend, because...well, just because. With our history of working all the time, we figured if we didn't do it on a Saturday, we'd have to wait a whole other week to get it up, and there are only so many weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. And it would be one thing if it was just a matter of getting the tree up and decorated--that only takes like fifteen minutes. But you can't set up a Christmas tree in a messy living room! So we had to clean, and we had to sweep and mop, and actually that didn't take too long, either, but it's programmed in my mind as taking all the energy I have, so we wanted to make sure we did it on a weekend.

And so! now our apartment is significantly cleaner, and we have a Christmas tree! Woohoo! We still don't have a topper for it. We're very particular about our Christmas tree toppers, is why. We want a star, but it has to be a star that we like, and also not be breakable.

In the meantime, I realized that the secret to not letting the world, or at least my personal world, be run by evil billionaires is to support local businesses, so we did a quick internet search and discovered that the local farmers market is in a place we know how to get to! Of course, this doesn't mean we'll actually buy anything there; we still don't technically eat real food. But we're raring to go check it out! Someday! We're still entirely unsure what our schedule is going to be like next week.

Today I'm thankful for having a cleaner apartment, having our Christmas tree up, still having time to play Kingdom Hearts, having more adventures to look forward to, and Pirouette cookies being on sale.
