My Monster Secret volume 7

I woke up this morning and one of my first thoughts was, "I think I forgot to update LiveJournal yesterday." We were kind of rushed on things, so it just slipped my mind. We were rushed again today, because our weekly project turned out to be on the extra wordy side. Oh well.

Anyway, Review Rednesday is here again! All weekend, I was like, "And this week we'll be posting about Waiting for Spring..." And finally on Monday I remembered no, we already posted that review. This week, we're reviewing My Monster Secret 7! Spoiler level: mildly moderate.

Wow, I don't even remember some of the stuff we talked about in that book. We're still a little baffled as to why we were translating that on a monthly schedule when it's being published on a tri-monthly release schedule. It's okay now, though, because a few months ago our boss asked us how busy we were because they had a series they wanted to give us, and we were like, ummmm, probably way too busy but we could maybe squeeze it in? and I guess they were like okay maybe we should lay off for a while, because we haven't done anything for them since. We still have a year's worth of My Monster Secret all finished for them, too, so it may be a while before we get back to it.

In the meantime, for this week's releases, we have...nothing! Yeah, it kind of surprised us, too. I have to tell you, with all the busyness and stuff, and the lack of new releases, we were curious, so we counted the number of unposted reviews we've written. There were thirty-four. If you want to be perfectly accurate, a few of those reviews will be posted simultaneously because of omnibi, so it's more like thirty. Thirty reviews that we have yet to post.

And yet...we will not be posting any of them next week, because we have reviewed every translation of ours that is currently on sale. We're tossing around a couple of ideas for what to do instead. If you have one, go ahead and let us know what it is, because right now, it could be anything!

Today I'm thankful for finally finishing that wordy translation, the cats outside not being especially interested in marking the big box that got delivered today (nice of them not to ruin the food we ordered them), fond memories of Shirogane Karen, finishing our Hanako-kun translation, and the peanut butter cookies we've been snacking on all day.
