Little drivers

We were totally planning on doing some more chores today, but those plans got derailed. When Mom picked us up from counseling, we suddenly ended up going to her house instead of home. Sarah joined us and we all followed the babies around for a while. We discovered that Logan really loves pretending to drive real cars, to the point where he took me outside, started walking down the street, and tried opening the neighbors' car doors so he could get in and play driver. I told him he could play in Mom's car (the little van) or Sarah's car (a sedan), so he pointed to Sarah's car. I think he wanted the most sporty looking one, because the first one he tried looked more sporty.

Turns out it was locked, so he had to settle for Mom's car. But soon after that he discovered how the horn worked, which was especially awesome for him, because when he found out, I yelped. After that, he wouldn't stop with it, until he accidentally turned on the hazard lights, couldn't figure out how to turn them off, and then decided to let me sit in the driver's seat. I assume that last part is because he thought that, as a grown-up, I would know how to fix it, but alas, I did not. I'm sure that kid's gonna think he's soooo much smarter than I am when he gets older. He's constantly having to try different ways of conveying messages because I just don't get whatever it is he's trying to say.

After that, we all went to dinner, and now here we are. Tadah!

Today I'm thankful for Mom putting chocolate chips in the cookies she made, Mom and Steve treating us to dinner, having a good time with everyone today, getting to spend some time with Page, and having a new episode of Psych to look forward to (or maybe we'll watch it now!).
