Today, we had some help staying positive, because whenever something came up that had me go, "RAR!", I could just remember the little thing from this morning, and suddenly I felt all better. And what was that thing?

Well, some of you may know that we've been following Mamoru Miyano's blog ever since he played Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club. You may also know that he plays Taichi in Chihayafuru. And you might even know that they had a Chihayafuru event in Japan this weekend! So! Miyano-kun posted pictures of himself and some of the cast in hakama! Eeeeeeeeeee♥♥

He also reported that he played carta for the first time ever! (We spell it "carta" because it comes from Portuguese, and we're snobs like that.) He excitedly told everyone that he got the "tago" card. We don't know which card that is, but we're happy for him anyway.

He was not kind enough to tell us for sure who the other cast members in the picture were, so we had to look it up to confirm our guesses. It turns out we were right, so Chihayafuru fans probably won't have a hard time figuring it out. Collapse ) Our search led us to this other picture, which has all the same people looking slightly more serious, and a member of the group that performs the opening theme song.

Anyway, Miyano-kun just looked so cute and happy in his hakama, that we had to share the picture with everyone. And there you have it.

Today I'm thankful for adorable pictures of voice actors in hakama, white chocolate popcorn, the bishop listening to his wife (who always says go with chocolate, not flowers) so we got chocolate from the Elders Quorum for Valentine's Day, having great lessons at church today, and having a lovely time at choir practice.
