3... 2... 1...

Our original plan was to go about our business as usual, and then when work was done, we'd play Kingdom Hearts until midnight. Instead! we got to go to the movies. The intent was to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but it was only available in 3D, and Mom didn't want to see it in 3D, but we were going to see it anyway until they realized we had to pay extra for 3D, and since Mom didn't want to see it in 3D to begin with, she especially didn't want to pay extra for it. We suggested Tangled, but Celeste had already seen that twice, and she's not a "seeing movies multiple times" kind of person, or something like that. So instead, we saw Gulliver's Travels. It was a little juvenile in some of its humor, but overall, cute and entertaining.

After that, we went to Mom's house for pizza and Wii. She downloaded The Legend of Zelda from the Nintendo Channel, or whatever it is that you download games from. We had a good time playing that for a little while, and now we're back home with our kitties! And we have a little time left for Kingdom Hearts, so that's what we're going to do, instead of spending our time writing a long post about yesterday and the day before.

Today we're thankful for getting to have a good time watching movies and playing video games, having time to play some Kingdom Hearts before the year is through, getting almost halfway through the book we're translating despite stopping work early for the day, getting to greet the New Year with our kitties, and one adorable year with Page. (It's her one-year adoption anniversary!)
