A little brain dead for no good reason

I think I had a few things to talk about today, but I can't remember what they are. Let's see... we watched Bolt last night. It was directed by at least one of the guys who directed Tangled, and it was really good, so that's a good sign.

We have a column to write today, and I was a little excited about it, because we actually have an idea that we thought was pretty good, but now I'm like, "Noooooo! It's a terrible idea! Everyone will think it's dumb! Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!" Of course, for all we know, they think all our other columns are dumb, too. But those columns don't involve correcting what we perceive as common misconceptions. It's possible that the misconception is not common at all, and everybody will be like, "Yeah, duh. Everybody totally knows that." Sigh...

And so we'll probably put off writing it until after dinner. Speaking of dinner, we got Kit-Kats today! I'm not sure what that has to do with dinner, actually, but my train of though is not exactly on a continuous track right now. Our November 1st tradition is to head to the grocery store to stock up on candy, so that's what we did! But apparently Fresh & Easy didn't have a single leftover candy variety pack. Nevertheless, bags of candy were on sale, and since we were both in a Kit-Kat kind of mood, that's what we got. We're still not comfortable in enough in our financial situation to have gotten two bags each of Kit-Kat's, Snickers, and Reese's peanut butter cups. Who needs that much candy all at once, anyway? (But it does sound like a wonderful stash... Ah well.)

Our trip to the store cut in on our work time, though, which was a little unfortunate, because we're working on Maid-sama!, and the book was not being kind today. Neither of us is sure that we've ever managed to work on a volume of Maid-sama! without somehow being interrupted by a trip to Disneyland or some other unusual item thrown into our schedule in the middle of it. Maybe someday...

Today I'm thankful for sales on candy, sales on pita chips, getting to try the one flavor of Frosted Mini Wheats that we haven't tried yet (even though so far original is definitely the best), managing to get a decent amount of work done despite the massive amounts of text on all those pages, and a new Castle on tonight!
