tadah

Whew.

Finally, some time to catch our breaths. Okay, so technically we were catching our breaths for about an hour before this when we were sitting around reading manga, but it was still technically work.

Anyway, we ended up working until bedtime again last night (I didn't mention it, but that's how long we worked the night before, too), and today we finished the script we were working on with an hour to spare before our normal quitting time! ...And my train of thought has been completely derailed by the cat fight that just broke out in the living room. Sigh.

What was I talking about? Right. Work. But come to think of it, there's not a whole lot to talk about there, except for things that we're not sure if we should talk about. And then we don't have anything else to talk about because practically the only thing we've done for the last forty-eight hours is work and sleep. There was some eating in there somewhere, I'm sure. (Of course there was--we're very routine-oriented, and we made sure never to skip a meal or snack time. It's just not as dramatic to leave that in there, and we don't eat that much either, so... I don't know, never mind.)

Let's see. We got an e-mail from Disney Destinations today that reminded us that, oh hey, you can get a free day at Disneyland if you do service! I haven't talked about it before because, since most of the people we hang out with locally already know about it, it just doesn't occur to us to tell people about it. But anyway, this year, they're doing a Give A Day, Get A Day thing, to inspire people to do service. Just click on the link, fill in your zip code, and they'll list all the approved service opportunities you can sign up for. There are a ton of opportunities, and some of them seem really easy, too, which just goes to show that a little bit of effort can go a long way. And! it will get you into Disneyland. Nice!

We've been half-seriously bugging the bishop about having a ward Disneyland trip, and now they'll let you in free for doing service! It's the perfect combination! But rumor has it the offer is only available to one million people (one million is a big number, but still), so we might have to work fast!

Well, I guess that's all for now. Back to our manga reading!

Today I'm thankful for having a short break from super translation schedule!, the very delicious cinnamon donuts we had for breakfast this morning, getting to see Oreo with an expression other than grumpy (before the cat fight), the way it looks outside when a bright ray of sunshine pokes out of the clouds, and having fun manga to read today.
