Terminen ser sentados por favor.

And we're finally able to slow down. After church today, we spontaneously decided to have my visiting teacher and her brother come to our apartment and watch Kingdom Hearts movies. This was due in large part to the fact that, due to extenuating circumstances, they ended up being our ride home instead of the person who normally drives us to and from church. We showed them the bonus movies from Kingdom Hearts II, and then we discovered they hadn't played Chain of Memories at all, so we pulled that out and showed them all the scenes on the first floor. I love theater mode. It was also especially interesting because we only had the Japanese version, so we were reading parts, only we had to translate the lines into English in our heads before we did it. It was pretty neat, but her other brother kept texting her urging her to get going to our ward's break the fast, so we had to stop. It will probably be easier for them to get the English version of the game anyway. But it was still fun!

Then we went to Mom's place for Celeste's husband's birthday dinner. We had some fun talking, but I think one of the most important things that came out of that is that we are now in possession of Mom's copy of Beauty and the Beast, so we can finally watch it after so long (this would have been even better had we done it before our little trick-or-treat excursion, but we were busy and stressed about various and sundry things).

And now we can finally spend a nice, long time at home not abandoning Oreo. This makes us happy. Hopefully it makes him happy, too.

Today I'm thankful for all the people who drive us to and from church, being able to play the piano despite injuring my pinky, the technique the nurse at the Pets Hotel taught us to help Oreo not gag up all his medicine (so far it's worked every time!), getting to watch Beauty and the Beast, and having a nice long time to spend at home with our kitty.
