Three, two, one... Happy New Year!!!

Technically, it has been exactly one year since one year ago this time, so that's not necessarily inaccurate. It is, however, random. What I wanted to do was mention two days ago that the countdown was down to two days, and then you'd all be like, "Whaaa?" but things got a little crazy so I forgot. It's just as well, because I wouldn't get to see the "Whaaa?" and therefore it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying.

Anyway, I think the countdown has reached zero, but I'm not sure if it's officially official yet, so hopefully I'm not jumping the gun. Some of you may have noticed, and a few of those some may even remember, that I mentioned waaaay back that there were Things in the works. As far as the two of us are concerned, those Things are a web column. There are other Things, too (mostly manga reviews), so for details, go to manga life! As you can tell from the name, it's a website about manga! Tadah!! Athena and I are going to be doing a column, as I said, that I think is mostly going to be more of our normal ramblings, only more focused on manga-related topics. Hop on over and check it out!

In other news, this morning we sent some stuff to the Better Business Bureau, but we had to ask the ladies in the office to copy it for us first. This was only a slight concern, because I think we're not technically supposed to be running a business out of our apartment. I don't think it's really a problem, since they know we translate and work at home, but still, when Mom called twice this morning, I was really worried that it was the managers calling to tell us we broke the rules. Fortunately, it was just Mom. We're going to be singing in her ward's Sacrament Meeting on Sunday, and I need to know all the details because I'm the one that might need the most practicing (since there's a chance I'll be playing the piano instead of singing). Mom's the one who needs the second most practicing, so she'll be coming over a lot until Sunday (she doesn't have a piano), which works out very nicely for us, because it means we'll have a ride to Game Stop.

But we didn't have a whole lot of time to dwell on any of this, because work has been pouring in like crazy!!!! We're very very excited♥ It looks like we'll be working on some very awesome manga in the near future, and I really wish I could talk about it more. At any rate, it looks like we'll be pretty busy, so hopefully we won't have to cut back on our Ace Attorney time.

Today I'm thankful for lots of shiny new projects♥, not being in trouble with the apartment management (at least as far as we know), having another ride to Game Stop, our CD Japan order being "in shipping process", and the little white flowers on the tree outside.
