Thinking out loud (er, in type)

It's been a week and we haven't gotten registration confirmation yet. We're not really worried, because the day's not over yet, and there could be unforeseen problems, like maybe there are issues because we used our fictitious business name instead of just saying we're with TokyoPop. Technically, we aren't with TokyoPop, though.

Things do seem to not be working out quite so well as they normally do for AX, though. Like how we still don't have a hotel room, and we're not quite sure how we're even going to get down there. Of course, there's still three months, so again it's not something to panic over. But last night we ended up watching Deal or No Deal, and that particular episode got me thinking about strange coincidences. It's not that I believe in fate so much as that I think things happen for a reason. So we are wondering if there's some reason we need to not go to AX this year. For example, around AX will also be about the time volume 2 of the Shiny New Thing comes out in Japan, and we might need to be home so we can be able to translate it quickly. And that, in turn, could potentially lead to more awesome things. Of course, if that was the case, we might only need to miss a day of the convention.

But last night we got to thinking about who might come to AX, and the more we think about it, the more we want to go. But then again, if the people we hope are going aren't going, then...

Ah well. What happens happens. And in the meantime, we need to keep checking for a hotel room.

On a different note entirely, Yoritada is making it very difficult to resist giving up on Twilight Princess for the rest of the week or so. We must be strong!

Today I'm thankful for butterscotch pudding, that episode of Deal or No Deal last night (it was awesome), having gotten some exercise last night, having ice cream in the freezer, and the kitties hanging out with us today.
