Fortunately, neither of us is sick enough to be prevented from translating or, in my case, finishing up the costume. Also, since Mom has to take us out to get some thread, and they might use our help in deciding on another present for Kimee, there's a chance we'll get to eat out tonight. We know we shouldn't get our hopes up, but man, that would be so nice.
We also found out that we don't have to wait until after our FBN statement thingie has been published in a newspaper for four weeks before we get an EIN thingie, which is what we need to work for CMX, so we don't have to worry about not getting the book they have for us due to lack of time to translate it by deadline. Unless they needed us to have one by today, because we looked at that form and it was almost completely incomprehensible to the likes of us. I would have called Mom for help, but we'd already bugged her enough this morning about the FBN, so we thought we'd give her a break. And then we got caught up in translating.
We've met our page quota for today, so the temptation to just stop working is very very strong, especially with sparkly new anime waiting for us. But we're not completely braindead yet, so we'll see what happens.
Today I'm thankful for forced breaks (because if I'm stopped because I can't go on, I don't have to feel guilty about not going on), being almost done with the Princess Jasmine costume, a potential chance to go to Toys R Us even if we don't get to buy anything (window shopping at Toys R Us was our favorite pastime until we discovered anime, which, incidentally, we owe largely to Toys R Us), getting help with legal stuff, and being that much closer to crossing the two most stressful things off our list.
