Episode eight of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni turned out to be less scary than episode four, maybe because there was less blood. I'm curious to see what they do with the next story arc.
It's cold today. It's not very cold, and it actually probably just feels cold because it's windy, so this is a good thing. It's just kind of weird because even though it's warmer outside than inside, if we open the window it'll only get colder because of the wind.
We're starting to get the feeling that going to Disneyland with Mom and Sarah is just not going to happen, mostly because we don't know how to work around Mom not wanting to pay to stay in a hotel. It's kind of depressing, because if anyone needs to see the fireworks for the 50th Anniversary thingie, it's Sarah. Okay, so I'm sure there are other people too, but as far as the people we know, Sarah's the only one who needs to see them and hasn't. Sarah's got some friends down there, though, so maybe we can get her to help us work something out.
We're also getting the feeling that they're not going to take us to see X-Men 3 like they said they would, but that might just be pessimism. We won't know for sure until Tuesday.
And that's it for my ramblings at the moment. Except that I'm sad that there's no new Danny Phantom tonight, or Foster's. Still, today I'm thankful for Mickey Mouse-shaped chocolate mints, happy anime to watch after watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, extra blankets, once again having Pringles, and socks.
