That didn't stop him from taking the Switch hours later, when his brother was finally done with it. We were like, "Oh, you got the Switch back? How did you swing that?" and he was just like, "Whatever," and then his mom caught him, and that was the end of that. He was very sad. We tried to cheer him up, but alas it was beyond our power. He chose to call Grandma instead. She likes to throw money at problems, and we can't help but wonder if that's why. But that's just the cynics in us talking. I imagine grandmas have innate child-comforting powers.
As for us, we finally had a meteor shower in Animal Crossing! So we're excited about that. We made over fifty wishes! We also planted a lot of flowers.
And we watched Miraculous, as usual. We're getting close to the end of our tenth viewing of the entire series, and we're not sure what to do about it. The more we watch it now, the more we're going to have to watch the next batch on quick loop to even it out. I'm pretty sure we won't mind that, either, but...I don't know. It seems like a lot of times to watch a small selection of episodes. And it was a little hard watching the second half of season three eight times. Maybe because those were the episodes that broke us...
Well, I'm sure we'll figure something out.
Today I'm thankful for meeting our work quota, Grawp promising to trade us a Comfey, finally getting a meteor shower on our island after learning how to make wishes, the kind email we got from our editor about Page, and getting to sleep in tomorrow.
