I didn't dwell on it much, though, because I was playing the piano. Then the woman got up to give the first talk, and she explained that she just got back from her mission in Brazil, so she was going to speak in Portuguese for the sake of our new convert. Aha! so that's what it was. (The word for work is trabalho, which sounds like "tra-bye-lo" to my untrained ears.) So the newest member of our ward moved to the US from Brazil. So about half of the service was in Portuguese, and that was pretty neat.
When we got back, we decided we needed to cut it out with this dying business that's been going on. But we still had to go grocery shopping. So we did that, and then we took it easy for the rest of the day. Now we have an Octillery in Pokemon! ...Which reminds me, we got an email from GameStop asking us to review our latest purchase of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. This was a surprise, of course, because we did not buy Smash Brothers. But we also happen to know that Mom has our GameStop account info, and there's a good chance she used it, especially because it says we can also review Pokemon Sword, which is the version she has, not the one we have. But what this all boils down to is that now we're the only members of our family who regularly speak to each other who do not have Smash Brothers Ultimate, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Now's not really a good time for us to buy it, though, so it doesn't really matter. But that's okay, because we got to watch the Origins episodes of Miraculous today.
Today I'm thankful for getting to go to the baptism today, getting to hear some Portuguese, having an Octillery, having plans to finally use the super fancy chocolate cake mix we bought a few weeks back, and getting to see the Origins episodes of Miraculous again.
