My current hypothesis is that working right up until bedtime makes it hard for me to sleep. This hypothesis is brought to you by the fact that I didn't sleep well last night or the night before, and we worked until bedtime both those nights. On the other hand, I slept very soundly on Thursday night, which was the night we ditched work in favor of a Relief Society activity. So now we're going to go to bed early in the hopes of getting more of the better sleep, and we're going to pray that we finish our work quota before we call Mom tomorrow. (Otherwise, we're likely to not only work until bedtime, but to work past bedtime.)
But in happier news, we watched Darby O'Gill and the Little People today, and were reminded of just how nice of a movie it is. We found it especially endearing that the big fight scene at the end (the bonus features have parts of the episode of the Disneyland TV show (or it might have been Wonderful World of Color) where Walt talks to his friend Pat O'Malley about the Irish movie he's making, and Mr. O'Malley is like, "You can't have an Irish movie without a good donnybrook") was mostly depicted in the reactions of all the onlookers. Sometimes you want the satisfaction of a good fight scene without actually watching all that violence. Anyway, if you haven't seen this movie, or you haven't seen it in a long time, I highly recommend watching it, because it's great.
Today I'm thankful for a nice relaxing Sunday, getting to watch a lot of TV (the other things we watched were The Story Trek and God Friended Me), old live action Disney movies, the delicious leftover pizza we had for lunch and dinner today, and getting to bed early.
