Our celebration was premature. We should have seen it coming, really, and the thought did cross my mind, but only very fleetingly, and I was immediately distracted afterward. Gaston called and wants to go to Disneyland tomorrow. I mean, the timing is actually pretty perfect, since we think it means we don't have to rush on anything to still get everything in on time. But we had two and a half days off, and he's taking one and a half of them, so we're a little annoyed. Not annoyed enough to tell him not to come, though, because we are still starving for human interaction, and he is a good friend.
So basically what this means for us is, instead of resting at home, we'll be going to Disneyland, albeit hopefully in a less exhausting capacity. And! because we hadn't yet worked on the anime we agreed to translate this season, the first episode is due Friday morning, and there's no way to predict the level of life or death we will be feeling on Thursday (after returning from a morning trip there, because Gaston had to choose to come on Wednesday, the day Farley is off this week), instead of watching a Sailor Moon Musical tonight as planned, we got to work. The good news is, we think we'll be able to get this anime episode turned in on time. The bad news is, it's a spin-off of an anime that's already been translated, and there are character quirks that we need to figure out. And there's about a bazillion characters, so it's been taking us some time to find the dialogue we need to help us in this endeavor. And I'm pretty sure this whole thing only just barely makes sense at best, but I'm too tired to figure out how to clarify, so all I can do is apologize. I'm sorry.
And we don't know what time Gaston will be showing up tomorrow, so we better get some sleep.
Today I'm thankful for getting to sleep in this morning, getting to spend some time on our silly apps, getting to visit with friends, having some of those chocolate cookies to look forward to, and Page being super cute in today's favorite spot.
