The usual

Today was busyness as usual. Only not, sort of. We took a little time off to call Mom, and later we took time off to accept a phone call from Gaston. He just got back from a long vacation in which he went to Disney World, so he wanted to call and talk about it. It sounded like he had a great time, and fortunately(?) he's not coming down tomorrow, so we have another day to work! Really, the sad thing about it is that we need it. So much to do, so little time.

Nevertheless, when we had a little less than an hour before bedtime (by which I mean, before updating LJ and checking Facebook one last time, and then getting ready for bed), we decided to stop working and get back to Kingdom Hearts. Part of this is because someone linked to an article about knowing your limits, and even though it was about safe exercise practices, we were still like, "Well, we wouldn't want to overexert ourselves..." We'll see if we end up suffering for it later. (My bet is that we would have suffered either way, so maybe it's for the best that we took a break when we had the chance.)

Today I'm thankful for getting to talk to Mom, getting to hear about Gaston's vacation, making fairly decent progress on work maybe I think, getting to play some extra Kingdom Hearts, and Page sitting on my lap while we played.
