Today was full of good news and bad news. Mostly good news, though. The good news is this week's episode of Hozuki is a lot of fun. The bad news is that we still had to do some research on buddhas and bodhisattvas. The bad news is that our patio was devoid of feline visitors almost all day. The good news is that all three kittens are still around. We owe our neighbor an apology for suspecting her of kitten-napping. We're sorry, Neighbor! The other good news in that regard is that the kittens seem every so slightly less afraid of us than they have for the last couple of days.
The bad news is that we made it to the end of Miraculous and it was entirely non-conclusive! We wanted so badly to see Ladybug and Cat Noir find out all the secrets! We got to the end and I just wanted to scream NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! You can't be over yet!!!
But the good news! is that it's not. But the bad news is that the rest isn't available yet. But the good news is that Wikipedia tells us it should be up on Netflix this December. We're going to have to call Sarah and commiserate, and possibly scold her for deliberately getting us hooked on a show just so we could share her misery. But of course we forgive her, because we love it so very much.
Tomorrow we prepare ourselves for different kinds of news. We're still not done with the big project we've been working on (and I totally said what it was yesterday, if anyone was following along), but our other deadlines are fast approaching, so it's time to start juggling. Hopefully Hanako proves to be as kind to us as it's been in the past.
Today I'm thankful for all the kittens still being around, the cats coming back to the patio in the evening, knowing that there's more Miraculous to look forward to, having pretty much settled on an additional adjective for that annoying black crystal (the adjective is not "annoying," but if you ask us personally, it would be apt), and having more salted caramel fudge to look forward to.
