It was really very nice, and we got to talk to some people in the ward that we almost never talk to. It was kind of crazy, because we were talking with some people about Ron Clements and John Musker, and we listed some movies they directed, and one of them went, "Didn't they also do The Great Mouse Detective?" And I was kind of blown away, because usually we're the only ones who pay attention to that kind of thing. The potentially scary thing about that is they're changing all the ward boundaries in our stake, so we might not be in the same ward anymore next time we meet. Oh well; there's always Facebook. (And we might still be in the same ward.)
And now it's only eight o'clock, but we're still a little sleep deprived, and we must needs go to bed early, especially because we have about three books due next weekend. Ha, ha, ha... I don't know if we'll have time to post much about Japan, but we'll try!
Today I'm thankful for having a lovely time at the ward party, the senior missionary couple that has been so helpful in our ward, still having some neat souvenirs to look forward to playing with, all the good times we've had in our soon-to-be-changed ward, and getting to bed early.
