Okay! We finished all the manga that needed translating this week! Whew! Of course, we can't turn the last one in, because it requires paperwork, and our printer refuses to print because it thinks its out of cyan ink. Does it matter that we want to print in black and therefore do not need cyan ink? No, it does not. Our printer will print with a supply of all colors on hand, or not at all. I think we have a cyan ink cartridge somewhere, but finding it will require Exploring, and we do not have time for that nonsense. Really, we should get a new printer, because this one has been playing shenanigans on us for years now, and the fact that we can't even buy ink cartridges from its maker anymore indicates that it's probably old enough to retire.

But anyway. I don't even know what kind of busyness we have in store next week (mostly because I don't have time to think about it), but I think it's going to be pretty hectic. So hopefully tomorrow will be nice and restful. But first, early morning choir practice!

Today I'm thankful for not having to be outside all day in the 101 degree weather (our weather app told us it "feels like" 113, but it didn't seem that bad when we went grocery shopping), Reese's Stuffed With Pieces being on sale, finishing this week's translations, Page not accidentally flipping the switch on our power strip (it's her new favorite pillow), and it being time to go to sleep.

If the paperwork involves YP, I've been told that they'll accept a digitally signed copy (which reminds me, I still gotta get that sent in...). But maybe your paperwork is for someone else, in which case never mind.

That sounds really super hot. It's cooled down here the last couple weeks, I'm even wearing socks and long sleeves some days! (although it's the season where my house naturally stays a lot cooler than the outdoors gets.) Congrats on finishing all the things for last week!!

It was a different publisher, but we needed to get that (YP paperwork) taken care of, too, so thanks!

It is pretty hot! Fortunately, our fans and cooling unit have been keeping our apartment at a reasonably comfortable level, and I think Saturday was supposed to be the hottest, so we're okay now, and it looks like the heatwave is subsiding.
