So our editor emailed and asked us to go look up those sound effects, and I'm wondering if he really needed us to find them or if he'd already found them himself and wanted us to find them so we wouldn't be upset if we ever looked at the English version and discovered they'd been changed but for crying out loud we're not going to remember every single sound effect we translate--that's why they weren't there in the first place! And I'm probably overthinking it, because contrary to the logical thing, that's what I do when I'm tired. Then I get myself worked up and annoyed because I feel manipulated, when I probably wasn't, but I do find it to be a strange coincidence that of all the flashback sound effects he asked us to look up, he only asked for the ones we got wrong.
Okay, Athena came up with a theory that maybe the letterer did try to look them up for reference, but couldn't find them because we got them wrong. That's a plausible theory that wouldn't be a, "By the way, I need you to know you made a mistake here." Sorry for suspecting you, Editor.
As for the mistakes themselves, all we can say is we're sorry. They should be fixed now, though. We're usually not that lazy, but we are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I should stop rambling and get some sleep. Today I'm thankful for having more time for KamiAso, feeling slightly better rested today, getting to see Usamaro again (that's Tsukito's rabbit), getting to write a happy review of our Risumaru plushie, and getting to have a delicious Freschetta pizza for dinner.
